This just came to my mind and I think if VDJ can do it things will get crazy, how about a Jukebox mode. Customers use a link similar to ask the DJ, customer type and find a desired track that's in library, maybe pay to play, track gets added automatically to play next or in queue. I see something like this working in bars but I guess many will complain that if it exist then there is no need for a DJ, just a thought for something new and maybe not so difficult to implement.

I started thing like this for an automated karaoke request and get some issues with delayed script verbs and singer names not being writable
but yes, without the requester name, all you said was somehow working....
before get_askthedj_unread definitively stop working
it goes on manually
