When I go to audio settings, under inputs, I have my pioneer ddjsx2 Wasapi connected on chan 1 and 2, but it days error at the end. When I mouseover the ddjsx2 in that area, it says not connected: getmixformat failed. What gives?

Why are you using WASAPI? The SX2 has its own ASIO driver. You should be using that for best results.

I dont have the asio option. I guess I'm missing a driver?

For most of the Pioneer hardware, i'd say the ASIO driver is important to install and use.

Note that in case you want to use Timecodes, there is no spare input to use for recording.
