In automix it will stop for 5 to 10 seconds and pick back up. I sometimes will do this when I playing from deck to deck. Has anyone experienced this?

If you're running on Windows, check out latencymon to see if your PC has issues supporting real time audio, like Virtual DJ.

Does VirtualDJ restart/crashes as per the topic's title, or you just lose audio and/or control for 5-10 seconds ?
If it restarts, please try to reproduce while you are connected to the Internet, so that the crash report gets uploaded to our servers. Currently we dont see any crash log uploaded from your Account.
If its an audio/control temporary drop out, make sure you have your Mac optimized http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Mac%20Optimize.html

Ok i will connect to the internet and hopefully it will be transmitted-
To recap,
sound drops out, waveform stops or freezes, sometimes my controller (Numark NV) resets to startup while the software is still running and nothing works.
On the configuration page there used to be a button for checking for updates and its been moved (to where?). When I'm connected to the server, how do I know?
