I'd like to either:
1) Disable gain or volume of scratch as I'm using a jog wheel to search through the Waveform.
2) Disable all scratching volume or gain always.
I never need to scratch and just don't want that horrible scratchy sound going out to the master while I'm cueing up.
Please help.

Why don't you bring the fader down for the channel you're cueing on, and use PFL to listen through headphones? Or, if you don't have headphones and are cueing visually, you can still turn the fader down and see what you're doing.
Sorry if I've misunderstood what you're asking for.
