I can't figure if this is a bug or an ongoing feature.
I do recall toggling this in the past, but don't recall how immediate the changeover is.
Currently when I toggle from pre- to post-fader fxprocessing the change doesn't actually take place until I have restarted the software.

How are you changing processing order? via script or via settings the change is instant here

seems it was a weird glitch in my system because a reboot seems to have fixed it.
However, your code is very helpful. Is there a specific value for each setting (pre/post)? because 0 and 1 don't seem to work, but the +1 toggles them

Yes, specific value for each setting are text values 'Pre-fader' and 'Post-fader'
