Tema: How do I assign the play button on my controller to work on whichever deck I have selected.

I am trying to get the play button on my controller to act like the spacebar on my keyboard. I don't want to use 2 different play buttons so "deck 1 play" and "deck 2 play" is not what I am looking for. Is there a way to assign one button on my controller to play on deck a when it is selected and to play on deck b when it is selected?

Depends on the button and the controller.

Is this button present on both sides ?
If not, simply 
play_pause

If on both sides..
device_side 'left' ? play_pause : anyOtherActionForRightside
