I'm having a serious problem the problem is...each time i try setting my mapping on default, it keeps changing to custom don't know why?and because of that, the default mapper that i had set will misbehave and will disconnect please help me?

Had a similar problem. Check to see if sort by first letter is set to no.

"the default mapper that i had set" is a strange sentence.
The default map is the default one set by default by and hardcoded in VDJ
the one you set is either the VDJ default one or a custom one or an alternative one (can be a default alternative too in some mappings)
default maps are hardcoded so that they can't be altered (in a way to keep having something coherent working in case of big mistake)
so far if you alter the default mapping, it automatically becomes a new custom map
"VDJ keeps changing to custom" maybe because it is ^^
you can name it "MyDefault" ... VDJ will keep "MyDefault" as name instead of custom mapping
however it will still go on being your "custom 'MyDefault'" map ;)
after what if VDJ do not exit cleanly for some reason, settings may not have been saved
