I have just downloaded virtual DJ software onto new Microsoft laptop (not mac). At first I could not find/open iTunes in the side menu bar. I have since changed the advanced preferences to share iTunes library XML with other applications. Now the iTunes playlists do show up on the left but it will not let me open them and see the tracks. Can anyone help please?

Can not see the sub-folders (playlist) in the iTunes folder? Aka, can not open the root parent folder?
Or do you mean that each folder (list) shows no content?

I CAN see the playlist folders but when I click on playlist folder I want to open nothing happens. So showing no content in folder....

I believe so. With my old mac book the tracks in the playlists were there. I have an apple id and can use apple music to stream on my phone so i believe i have a subscription.

VirtualDJ can only play music you have bought, not music from the Apple Music subscription.
