In searching for the cause of VDJ crashes on my system I came across another unrelated cause of crashes. A percentage of webm videos cause VDJ 2021 to crash when the video window is opened. They play fine when the video window is closed but crash immediately when the video window is opened. These same files work perfectly on the VDJ 2020 version.
This is on a Windows 64 system build b6173.
I have 99 webm videos. This occurs on 11 of the 99.

Setting safeVideoDecode to "no" fixed this.

Cannot reproduce any crash here, the file plays fine in all cases.
What is your computer's video card ? Have you checked for drivers updates ?

Video is Radeon RX 480. 8 gigs ram.
Yes I have the latest driver. It has updated once since the problem occurred.
If I play the video with safeVideoDecode "no" and change it to yes it immediately crashes.
Evidently whatever this function does my system doesn't like it.
