I am using a MacBook Pro (2017) connected to a Denon Prime 4 in Computer Mode. When I am playing a track the waveforms, track lists, folders etc are all slow and jerky and sometimes unresponsive for a while unless I have the video window enabled (Preview or normal window - doesn't matter which). It also plays fine if the window drop down menu is visible. This only happens when connected to the Denon Prime 4, doesn't happen when it's just the MacBook being used on it's own.

It does the same with an audio only file as well as video files - you have to have the video preview window enabled for an audio file.
