Tema: Advanced control on effect - effect timing (length) displayed
The effects on VDJ are great but the timing (length) of the effect is very important.
On my controller (Denon MC7000) it uses 3 potmeters with range 0 to 100%, logically.
Is there any way to 'control' the position of the potmeter and so the length of the effect?
OK, VDJ shows 1/64 bt till 8 bt but a small change, read incorrect beat-length, result in a terrible results.
Let's say the length is 1,7 beat instead of 2bt but this small 'incorrect' setting can't be seen.
Would be nice to see it more detailed, any change to achive this goal?

For all native effects when a slider controls length in beats (like Echo 2nd slider) then it's impossible to set it at 1.7 beats.
Basically the slider is "divided" in regions and each region represents a number of fixed beats.
So, when Echo 2nd parameter says 2 beats, it's going to be exactly 2 beats no matter where the slider is.

Finally you can also use effect_beats script to control the length of an effect, if the effect supports it (most native effects do)
I just wanted to make it clear that when you move a slider that controls length in beats, the beats are always set as fixed numbers.
