Hi everyone!
I use laptop when I do open formats and switch to USB standalone for House music sets. However, every once in a while I find the need to use VDJ in conjunction with other djs who are using USB standalone with rekordbox on my XDJ XZ. I often find that when I try to let someone switch the source from VDJ to USB my controller half malfunctions and never fully makes the jump requiring a reset.
I have a concert in a few weeks where I will have a DJM A9 and two CDJ3000s. I want to attempt to use the HID mode which is hot swappable between USB and Laptop using rekordbox with VDJ. I want my other headliners to be able to plug in their USBs while my laptop is hooked up using HID mode on the A9.
Has anyone done this successfully? Does anyone have any advice? Or should I port all of my music to rekorbox for this one off performance knowing it will work 100%?

Just run the audio of VirtualDJ thru DJM-A9, and you'll be perfectly fine
In other words, connect all 3 devices with VirtualDJ.
You can either run 3 USB cables, or even use "LINK" and run one UB cable from the mixer.

Thank you I'll give it a try. I'm only worried because I'll probably have one chance to test it before an 8 hour festival.
