I am experiencing a weird bug where tidal tracks that were previously cached and later deleted will error out when trying to load them to a deck. There is also no option to redownload the cache file when you right click on the song. Does this mean that songs are permanently broken if you delete the cached files? I would appreciate some clarification with this as I don't want to break my streaming service every time I clean up my library... (I have attached a screen shot with a specific example)

Is anyone able to help shed some light on this problem, or if this is a known bug, direct me to some kind of work around?

You too are wondering why a track won't play if it's been deleted?

Not that it won't play a deleted track, that is obvious, but why then can I no longer stream or redownload the track from Tidal. I want to know how to reset the database after a cached file is removed so you could stream/download again in the future.

Have you tried choosing 'remove from search DB' or using the 'remove missing files from search DB' option?

So I did try the remove from search database but that didn't seem to help, even after a restart. I will see if I can remove missing files (assuming that isn't another wording for the same thing) and see if it helps (will message back).

You deleted them from within VirtualDJ?

Yes I did, using the right click, file, delete. I even deleted the prepared stems first to avoid the possibility of leftover files.

So I was not able to resolve this and still have songs from the Tidal catalog that cannot be streamed or redownloaded. It makes me leery of clearing any offline cached songs for fear of being unable to use them again in the future but at the same time, I also don't want to run out of storage (eventually) with lots of songs that were only used once and may not be needed again for a long time if ever.
Any advice for fixing this issue?

I hate to keep bumping this thread but I need some kind of resolution to this issue. I want to be able to offline cache files but also remove them from cache without making them permanently unavailable afterwards. There needs to be a clear cache option that doesn't break Tidal functionality for that track in the future. Please help!
