i know a lot of people have hardware mixers so don't have a need for this. but as for me, this is all i can afford. i would love to have a 5 or 7 band eq, can do some much better mixing and provide better effects thru the use of "kill" for some of the frequencies. right now killing the entire bass or entire mid range can be a bit harsh. but this is just my opinion

Well... even the top-of-the-line mixers have only 3-Band EQ like Pioneer, Vestax, etc. 5 or 7 band EQ's are pretty much only meant for 19" mixers which don't have seperate channel EQ's. I couldnt see much more happening with a 5 or 7 band.
