I would recon that this is another thing they've chosen to lock to default values in the demo, for instance I have to load the file with my shortcuts each time I start Atomix since the demo doesn't seem to use the default.scu-file and the same probably goes for effects and samples althought I found these files' locations specified by registry entries, haven't tried to change them though as I don't use effects or samples that much.. I make my magic with the EQ-crossfaders and loopbuttons :)
