Hi
I am having a litle bit of trouble here...
Sometimes when I am in the middle of a mix and I wan't to drop my previous song and switch my new song in, you still hear a (small) part of the sound of my previous song!
It's just one simple note! And it really annoys me that I am one millisecond to late.... ;)
Does anyone have any tips?
Thanx

well depends,if that 'small' part is mid, bass or high just use the equalisers and slowly fade the new one in.There is really no general tip,as that is from 'song to song' technique..just use your imagination. oh and practice :)

when you cue a track, its usual to start beat 1 of the incoming track on the beginning of a measure of the outgoing track, usually works out nicely.
however, with some tracks it works out better to drop the first beat (incoming track) one beat before or after the start of the measure (outgoing track)
play around.. its all about your style, bro
