some malicious code (eg viruses) could be carried by mp3 files.
for more information (and to solve that problem) read this interesting Wired article.
happy new year to you all
please note that these vulnerabilities do not affect AtomixMP3 BUT affect Windows and Winamp

Now winamp is safe if you have that one version, but what about atomix?? If you play that "mp3" in atomix, will it cause trouble or something???

I read the message on the tranceaddict forum regarding Camouflage, but that program does not contain a trojan. I monitored the installation with Norton Cleansweep and it did not show that files were installed to the system directory. The user that posted that message probably downloaded a hacked Camouflage or got the trojan from some other file.

Also, I've had Camouflage installed for 5 months and did not encounter any strange things happening on my computer. And prior to those 5 months, I had Camouflage installed about a year ago and Norton Internet Security never caught the program trying to access the interent.
