this is the only thing that is stopping vdj from being an all ecompasing software solution. mcg's are only a third the size of cdg's and would save alot of hard drive space.

I use to use MCG's with the CAVS software, Since I got VDJ I converted them all to CDG+MP3, you need a tool called Elite Conversion Tools to do this (download from the net for about £20).
The difference is the CDG file is not compressed, only the MP3 part. However it is only a little a small about bigger. I have nearly 9000 tracks. Not A problem. VDJ plays them fine, plus in VDJ you can spin the track back and b***ger up the singer ! ha !
