Hi all,
last gig I encoutered skipping every minute or two.
It was due to the Flarion FlashOFDM Internet PCMCIA card.
I was on the margin of the signal, and during connecting it was eating too much resources for a second. Don't know if it's driver/hardware based, or it has something with their "network manager service/process" that monitors the amount of transferred data. I just stopped the service, killed the monitor and plugged out the card.
I have quite clean notebook, and this were only things I needed to be online and use napster and cddb...
but simply when there's weak signal it's nonsense to use it anyway.
You see ? It's not VDJ as is usually suspected by many :-)
