can someone please tell me why after i have analyzed my mp3s some have a vinyl record icon and some have the same icon with a orange circle to the bottom right.

That little orange icon indicates that the song is too far out BPM wise to be mixed with what's currently playing.

which ofcourse does not mean that it cannot be mixed, just means that you have to be more creative and use the full potential of vdj 4...

Thats true.
Depending of the style you play you can use this with creativity.
Playing songs that "not match" is more interesting to the ear sometimes and people enjoy it more...
