I just bought a compaq laptop with 1G ram and a intel centrino Duo processor. I am using a maya 44 USB and usb ard drive from my old laptop. I am ausing using time code CD's and a pair of CDJ800's. What are the best settings in terms of the performance settings and sounds lsettings - latency setting etc to get the bets sound, scratching, time code, pitch, beat lock etc while not straining the laptop or having the program freeze at a gi? oh yea.. I am using 4.0..
