OK, I'm using timecode vinyl on a shuttle ss51g p4 2.4 ghz with 512 ram.
I'm using an maudio delta 44 card with asio drivers...
everything works perfectly without timecode, but when I add timecode, wierd things start happening.
first off, the record case scrolls by itself, and songs load to the empty deck automatically at random.
also, the stutter button flashes sporadically.
songs also restart themselves by going back to the beginning...
it's like there's a ghost in the machine...
for good measure, I tried it on two of my other shuttles, and the same thing happens...
I find that I get 100% on the timecode config with, or without the riaa preamp, so I turn it off, because with it on, the scratching is sluggish, with it off, it's lightning fast.
also, what mode do I want?

Smart, I do not understand... could anyone explain this one?
relative I'm guessing just means timecode forward, music forward, timecode backwards, music backwards, with no relation to the needle's position on the timecode vinyl.
what about anti skip, smart cue, and all that?
can anyone please help me figure out why my machine is so squirreley?
