Tema: Analayzing files corrupts FAT, harddisk crashes

After installation of the 4.1r2 release the external harddisk crashes after analyzing a couple of files.
These files are not corrupted or infected.

Why not use ntsf or even fat32 format? alot safer FAT is very outdated

I am using windows XP and and three external harddisks with NTFS, two of them became inaccesable after using the analysing files with VDJ.

Thats strange , Ive had 3 externals go bad and they werent in contact with virtualdj,
2 of them had a cheap external case but one was a WD. Im just gonna quit with the externals and keep it all inside (If you Can)
If its a laptop can you find a docking station that holds hard drives?

What type of external HD are you using? Whenever I received errors or had files become corrupt, the culprit was always the enclosure, not the drive or the computer that was accessing it.

If you're using a Firewire drive, beware of the Prolific chipsets that are used in many enclosures. They can wreak havoc with your files.

There all USB, I did away with them all
Externals are awful

some are ok , but those ones are like 200 pounds lol so total rip
