ok, so whats the keyboard shortcut description? I'm looking at the possible shortcuts and the only one I can see that looks possible is "timecode_activate" .... is that the one?
Also when you are just passing through real vinyl what does virtual dj display? Does it show you the beat counter? can you use effects with it?

i think the bypass no longer works in 4.0, you have to buy 4 y adaters to split the turntable inputs to the mixer and soundcard

the bypass that was in older versions was not good at all, it would pop and have horrible static. The only way to use real vinyl with good results was with y adapters. I am 99% sure the bypass no longer works, i used to have a shortcut just to try it now and again and i was curious when 4.0 came out with the new sound engine that it might have been improved but the shortcut no longer worked. Certainly you can spend $10 on cables and not have to worry about it :)

well yeah, its easy enough having it working with Y adapters (i've done it today and works ok), but it would be great to be able to have some real time analysis and manipulation of the currenty vinyl playing in VDJ (i.e. bpm, use of effects, looping even?)
