I tried this and other various combinations with no success. My setup is MK2 controller connected to laptop with VDJ and output from MK2 into peavey amp. The microphone is an AKG D880 MS and it is connected into the MK2. I have the levels set so that the microphone can be heard when I press the talkover button but when I playback the recording there is nothing of what I said recorded.

have you tried this asign mic to input channels 1/2 on the mk2 control pannel

On a different note, I observed the "on air" text on the Hercules control panel lights up when I have engaged the talk over option on the MK2. This is a nice feature but unfortunately I am unable to minimize the control panel only close it. Do you know of any skin that includes this type of indicator as there is nothing on the MK2 itself to indicate that you have engaged the talkover button i.e. it doesn't depress or illuminate an indicator... cheers
