It's 3:30 am I just got home from the club.
I was talking to the club manager tonight about his radio ads. They're BORING. He told me to do up some ads for him to listen to.
We advertise on 5 radio stations in edmonton
1: Urban orientated/top 40/ dance multiformat station "Todays hit music......"
2: 80's/90's/todays top 40 "JoeFM - we play anything"
3: Classic rock radio
4: New rock/classic rock split
5: New rock
Format must comply with radio station format (that's the easy part)
Voice over Should include - Address
- Name of Club - The Purple Onion NightClub
- Loonie hour - $1.00 coctails/highballs 8-9
- Hours of operation - 7 days/week 7pm-3am
- Total length of AD - 30 seconds.
The music mixing part is not an issue
The 30 seconds script is.
Was thinking somethngs along the lines of......
"why wait for the week end..........."
"Long Nights and hard bodies under the lights at ............"
I get the first couple of words then - Total brain farts
I get to record and mix, Saturday, master Sunday, Managers aproval (hopefully) Monday
off to radio stations wednsday when our guest DJ from the Classic rock radio station does her weekly remote.
Ideas would be helpfull.
