video runs too fast ?? the codec is windows media player

Which version of Media Player do you have loaded?
Also, hate to beat a dead horse - but this is one area where DirectX being up-to-date is very key. Especially using the Windows Media Player as the video decoder.
Also, do you have another instance of Windows Media Player open along with VirtualDJ when this happens?

thanks i will check which version .....i know my direct x is recently updated, only a few weeks ago i think

i just ran an avi in realplayer it was fine, which i think means the direct x is ok

There is no 'Real Player' option in VDJ. Look before you .... well... I'll let it be.

Make sure you are up to date on your Windows Media Player as well.
