After spending a bunch of time getting my album art accurate on my collection, it'd be cool if I could display the art on my video output when I am playing an MP3 instead of a video. I love the Sonique plug-in, though I wish I could layer the Album Art automatically on the output.
Anyone else tried this or like the idea??

Good idea. I have a Seagate hard drive (see previous missives) - last Christmas, I connected it up to my niece's computer - some of my WMA files are now displaying unexpected album art, even on my new Creative Zen media player. How it did that, I don't know, as, prior to that, when I selected Album art as a vis, Windows Media Player just displayed a musical note (I'm not connected to the internet on my laptop - I have to use the local library - though my niece's computer is online).

Would definitely be a nice idea for a plugin. Could also be used just to associate a particular picture other than the album art with a particular song, possibly for montages or slideshows.
