Last night at the start of the evening, I set a batch of files to scan for bpm (house/techno setting), afterwards the database showed the song length but not the bpm. When I loaded one of the songs into the deck I noticed that the autogain hadn't been performed and so i had to alter the gain on the screen to get it up to a usable level.
Most of the time it's fine, but just occaisionally this happens.
Anybody else had this problem? Any ways round it?

Yeh, the gain setting is on always 0dB. Most of the time it works fine, but just occaisionally it plays up.
I rescanned some files tonight at a gig and all was fine, strange! :)

Yeh, this is true. But these files hadn't been analysed at all, hence no auto gain value had been applied to them.
I had the problem again last night, but found that they were scanned correctly if i selected songs one at a time and analysed them.
