Anyone out there know whether or not the "Numark Total Control DJ Software Controller" will work ok with VDJ software in the same way the "Hercules Controller" does?

I've seen a number of very nice videos and pictures of this controller in action, but I have not yet seen any video of a rep using the scratch wheels. Has anyone seen the scratch wheels in action yet?
I've seen videos of people using the scratch wheels on the Hercules MKII console, and the Behringer BCD2000. I like the layout of the Numark Total Control better than any of the others I've seen so far, and I don't care that it doesn't have a sound card... but I wouldn't mind seeing the wheels in action a bit if anyone has seen such... Thanks :)

I purchased one of the Behringer bcd2000 and it seemed ok , till i listened to the headphone mix... I was told that it could be split, one in one ear the other in the other... it was simply mixed. OH well. and the main fader was very loose gravity could move it ...
The new Numark looks like something I would really like but I could not understand how you cue a song... to a certain spot. They demo the unit but never show a cue. is there a cue funtion? I guess this is the lack of a sound card?
Lastly, you guys have been great with answering questions and I have learned a lot. I am wanting to use the VDJ software to play karaoke, I can handle the song list, would like a key control and basically it does a good job. ONe question. When I am playing a karaoke song and the song is about to end, I simply push alt/ space and it blends quite nicely ...But if I allow the first song to end, the Alt space bar does not function the same. How can I simply get it to fade to the next song.
Oops... is there an auto load of the next song in the list? thanks again for any and all help.

yes, it does have a cue section, but since it is a midi controller only, you have to think about it a little different. There are cue controls between the bass/mid/treble controls, but you won't plug your headphones into the unit. How does this work then? Well, you have to have either atleast a 4 channel sound card or two sound cards. If you have a 4 channel (or more) sound card, then you assign the front left/right to master out, and rear left/right to cue (headphone) channel. Then you plug in your headphones and master out to the appropriete channels on the multi-channel sound card, or sound card. The the Numark Total Control will control the cue(headphone) output from the board.
Summary: You plug your headphones and master output into the sound card(s) you are using, but you control the output for both from the Total Control. I hope that clears things up.

i have a gigaport... so i believe I would be ok, I want something to work with the software , that is actuallly made for the software. I'm wanting to use this for karaoke mainly but i have several events that expect nothing but music. I don't know alot about this software thing but you guys have been very helpful. Do you know if they have a skin that is a bit easier to read , in low light. Maybe a bit larger font.
So I would plug my headphones into the gigaports 1/8 inch jack, (not sure about the assign) and then I would assign another channel to my main. Like my virtual dj program, which I would feed , ??? out to a channel on my mackie board to then go to my speakers. am i close?
thanks so much for your help... I just thought it was great to be able to use the total control and it control video as well.
Will the Behringer BCD2000 control the video in VDJ as well.
thanks Michael
