i have a mac book pro...2.4duo with 4g ram nevidea 8600
when i try to bpm some songs it crashes the virtual dj program. i can play this songs in itunes fine but when i try to load the track, bpm it or even try to edit the tag the program crashes. can someone please help me with this?
i also have a pc with the same music on it and have never had this problem.

no...i have all my music in the internal hard drive and i am just trying to bpm the music. there is nothing else hooked up to the computer.

What is the song format? MP3? n what is the bitrate?
Also just try to put ur setting to fastest n auto for latency in config.

all my music is mp3 and 192 bitrate or higher....will changing those settings also keep it from crashing when i try to edit the tag?

Could you do me a favor , could you email me the crash log saved in yourusername/libary/logs/crashlogs
and the mp3 which caused it to crash to sbangs[at]numark[dot]com and i will test it and pass it on to the dev team.

i too have the same problem i used to never get crashes but i lost my original download of virtual dj and i got a new one but this one is not responding well with my computer. all my song and music videos are all the same as before. so unless i neeed a newer version or a software download, i dont know what is wrong.
the version that i have i downloaded today on this site the 7.0.5 mac version for home.
