Hello Teamers,
Keep up the great work. I have a question regarding Visual effects for the Mac Version.
Is there anyway to incorporate the Itunes visualizer into Virtual DJ for mac or something similar to it.
I currently don't use my Imac for parties yet because of the lack of real time video effects.
I use a Pc with sonique right now.
If there is anyway, can someone tell me how I can do it myself?
I'm also in need for a cube effect for Mac. Any idea?
Thank you in advance,
DJ Frankie

You can purchase the "stand alone" version of Gforce (which is the visualizer program Itunes uses) http://www.soundspectrum.com/g-force/. The stand alone version can accept audio input from any source. Keep in mind though that you won't be able to manipulate Gforce on the fly using VDJ. In other words scratching back and forth in VDJ won't cause the image to move back and forth, it will only cause Gforce's sound reactive waves and images to reflect the sound output, and it would be outside of VDJ as it's own separate thing. For example, with Gforce you can plug in a mic and the waves and images will react to your vocals but if you talk backwards the image is not going to move backwards. Same with VDJ, Gforce will only interpret what it hears and react in a linear manner. I suppose you could capture a video of a song with Itune's visualizer playing and then rip it into a video file and THEN manipulate it within VDJ if you wanted to be able to truly manipulate the image in the same way you would a regular video. It would be neat though if there was a Gforce visual plugin for VDJ where you could actually manipulate images on the fly using regular audio tracks.

Can this visualizer be used with Mp3 files for VDJ PC version? I'm not having any luck finding Sonique.

Standalone visualisers like those mentioned above cannot be used in VDJ easily. If you require more assistance please start a new thread in the correct section.
