I'm looking for a software phono pre-amp, to be able to record my vinyl onto MP3.
I know of RipVinyl, which has a built in softwrae phone pre-amp.
But just wanted to try an other recording app, that's why.
Any feedback highly valorised.

Seriously? Such a thing exists? I'd REALLY be interested to learn how this is possible since a phono signal has completely different (wrong) singnal charecteristics to be connected to a line-in connector. How someone is accomplishing this with software, I'd be very interested to know how they overcome electrical mismatches in software and still get a usable signal. You may be better off buying the right little box that does this for you.
