This goes along with JimmyB's thread about video not working.

Last night I did a Video party for a Property Management Corporation (plus tradespeople, and suppliers)

I got my first request ever for a Specific music video. It was fairly early in the evening and an older gent came up to the DJ station and asked for the music video for "that Cher song when she's dancing about half naked on the Aircraft Carrier"

Well he was right about one thing - Cher was Half Naked. But it was on a Destroyer not a Carrier.

Gotta love Promo Only's selection of Older videos.

I get requests for thriller every night and had to make my own edit about 2 years ago cause you just can't play that 15 minute movie. I also get a lot of requests for Smack My Bitch Up and the "good" (i.e XXX version) of 2 pac How do you want it. Back in the 80's the two big video requests were gap band's party train and the pointer sisters I'm so excited cause everyone wanted to see the bathtub scene because they heard you could see something.....if you were around in the 80's you know what I am referring to. Of course the video was too dark, too low resolution and the scene too short, but the would be censors thought they saw it!

i still get a few that ask for the buckcherry "crazy bitch" un-edited video. rather than explain why i won't i just hand them one of the many news articles about it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crazy_Bitch

The original unedited godley and creme version of Duran Duran's Girls On Film is by far the best 80's vid for revealing. get it requested a lot.

Has anyone really looked at FunkyTown by Lipps, Inc.? Shear net top with multiple duplications of Cynthia Johnson ... hmmm a bit revealing ... at least for it's time ...

That was a great one Cstoll.

I miss the 80's videos sometimes. They had much more entertainment value that some of the ones that are coming out these days.
