Finally got round to adding a profile pic, it doesn't show too well so small but if you click it you'll see the bigger version, that's my big blue tribal on my arm, it's my own design and colour scheme, took a lot of consultation with the tattooist and a lot of visits (and pain) to get it how I wanted it but I really like it and it gets a LOT of comments.

Nice mate, love the design and especially that shade of Blue.
I'm into Tattoos at the moment, I thinking about getting a really big piece done on my the top of my back and shoulder, (I love the Kio carp designs).
If you don't mind me asking where did you have it done, the tattooist has really done a cool job there mate.

Long story jimmy but here goes, a very long time family friend was a guy called Terry, now he was tattooing even in the 60's, he travelled all over the world tattooing, he was a very well known and rspected tattooist, he never really took on a prodigy until a few years ago, a guy called Danny, Danny was a 'natural' and ended up as a VERY talented tattooist, about 9 months ago, Terry died, he actually died of a fatal heart attack and was found sitting in a chair in his flat with an lp on his knee, half way through rolling a spliff! I kid you not! Anyway he left EVERYTHING he owned including his tattoo shop and business/equipment to Danny, Danny ended up rather succesful and at this moment in time he is in Johanesburg tattooing, got discovered and made an offer by someone. Anyway, the work on my arm is Danny's.Oh, previous to going to South Africa, they were based near manchester, about 15 minutes drive from me.
The blue is unusual and took a lot of work as it's actually feathered to almost white in the middle, doesn't show too well on the pic, but it's layered from the black to a very pale blue, looks something like an airbrush effect.
Long story but quite entertaining.
