That is video card driver problem or DirectX. Update both to latest version and give it a try. Which version do you use?

I have the same problem I think.
After 3-4 hours the video freezes and I have to disable hardware acceleration but then cpu goes high.
If I enable hardware acceleration again it doesn't fix the problem.
Only with restart of the program.
I use 5.2.1 numark cue with numark total control.

I have a laptop quore 2 2500gh memory 4g nvidia gforce 8700 vista ultimate.
Vista have the latest drivers of direct x so I don't think that direct x is the reason of freezing.

Vista has only DirectX 10 built in, you need to install version 9 manually.

Thanks for the answer but I want to ask
how can I go back to an older direct X ?
Are you sure that this can fix my problem, or that can damage my laptop?

DirectX 9 & 10 will sit happily together in Vista and shouldn't course you any trouble.

I just installed direct x 9.0c but i don't it see it anywhere but 10.
Is it installed? Where can I see it?

The problem continues to exist.
Direct 9 didn't help, but I think it didn't get installed.

It is, you just can't see it in Diaxdiag tool. You have problem somewhere and it is hard to find where. You should try VDJ on different video card if possible.
