So i am returning my vci-300 today. I had three units in front of me (thanks to the kind folks at sweetwater) and it was impossible to set the sensitivity of the jog wheels. they would either slip or stick.. they would work fine then stop. Plus itch is not that great of a program. So i am still on the waiting list for the NS7..................

so the vestax-300 sucks... so bad???

I had a feeling you would wind up waiting for the NS7 in the long run. I just hope it's worth it.

nothing i really wrong with the vc1-300...... or itch for that matter. I actually liked both > How ever returned the vc1-300 cause I had 30 days to get credit towards a purchase of the ns7. Itch has so really good looping and beat matching. It's bpm generating is good also. has good file management too. I do miss having the vci-300 and itch cause honestly i was not looking at the laptop for much more than selecting tracks, the vci-300 has more of a controlorist feel too it for those that want to trigger loops and cues.....i am leaning toward the ns7 simply because i am more into platter manipulation than just 'scratching' there is no forward or speed changing possible with the vci-300.... to sum it all up if the Ns7 was not around the corner ( early feb at the lates as early as 2 weeks at the earliest) I would still have my vci-300. plus itch has no sample bank so i need my VDJ
