I was using vdj 4.3 and there was a folder called local database where you clicked and added search HD and all your files came up and when you typed the name of a song you were searching it appeared...
in VDJ 5 there is no such folder... and i have no database at all... i go to the browser and click check, fix or clean database but nothing happens... i suppose that all my files shoul appear on the search window but nothing happens... if i search in the folders at the left and click one that has many songs and i want to find a particular one that i know is there and type it on the search square nothing happens.. what shall i do? i have a gig on friday and i really need this to work!!!

Exactly the same problem for me. VDJ does not save the database. Any ideas anyone???

I just upgraded to a MacBook Pro and have the same problem...can't save the DB...can't pick the DB from the list in the config menu
