Good for you Chuck....I get tired of registering over and over also....and if one more place asks me for my social security number I'm going to pop.....I'm with you my DJ brother from another mother...
 
to me the scary part is the Big Brother ish expectation that you would do any such thing without questioning it

look i understand what they want and why , it's just too much , too greedy and too pervasive .....;

what's wrong with perfectly useful but less specific stuff , like age , gender , approx income , zip code ?

what's wrong with thinking it an obvious invasion of privacy , to ask ??

actually they know most of what they need if you just answer " how did you hear about us" and then give your zip code ......
