I use the crown UT1010, its a great reliable amp but its really heavy, as soon as I have the money im going powered. If your a mobile dj like me carrying around an amp is a real pain in the arse.

i have a peavey amp , so old i'm sure there not making it anymore , and jbl 2 ways non powered , plus jbl powered

i'm a mobile guy , both my mixers are PA type mixers (mackie and yamaha ) only use a dj mixer at the strip club

for headphones at a gig i use a behringer powerplay headphone amp which has turned out to be very rugged

i am a big fan of cerwin vega and denon subwoofers , i like the EV self powered also , but don't have any mice elf

all Chucks equipment , even what i bought used has lasted over 5 years and in the case of the JBL non powered and the peavey amp are over 10 years old ... i baby it , pack it nicely and am very organized especially with the cords

cords of like purpose go in zip lock bags of various sizes , and i use cable cuffs

I've mostly used QSC and have been extremely haopy. Anything by Crown is also top notch from my experience.

Right now QSC makes the best amps for the money weather their budget amp GX line to their top teir PL3 series.

in de club we have a qsc ......

I started of using Crown amps but switched over to QSC and upgraded last year to their lightweight 14 lb amps. I have been using QSC for about a decade and have no complaints and no failures. Regarding Cerwin-Vega, that is all that I have used for years and I especially love the Earthquake.

forgot to mention i use dynacord 1200poweramp and never let me downalso dynacord powermate 600 desk for small venues karaoke ect great sound from both.just want another amp possibly to link to my 1200

Amps: QSC
Speakers: JBL

Using both brands over a decade. Never a failure.

Crown then QSC. That's about it.

Yamaha has a decent amp. Mackie amps are good but like I said...Crown than QSC. All else pales in comparison.

QSC all the way. Trust nothing else. I have nine of them.

Another vote for QSC, I have the QSC PLX 3402 and it's a great amp, also i use an EV (electrovoice) amp which again I'm very happy with but EV amps tend to be expensive. My crossover is also EV and that I REALLY like.

I agree, QCS is the best,RMX2450 for 8 years every weekend without one hicup, I bouht a Crown XTI4000 about a year ago and one day I have to power it off and on twice before turn on... It has been rock solid since, but I am keeping a close eye on it.
With the QSC I was going to the chiropractor every month,... the Crown can be carried by a child. the crown also have a lot of extra functions if you like sound...
Conclusion: I will use power speakers first, then If you are carring only one amp, go with QSC, if you are carring more than 1, I will buy crown.
