is there a skin for 4 decks ?

that would be cool, but I doubt it, you would need a massive soundcard tor tcv and i can forsee a thousand other probems.
I think the option to have 2x decks and maybe a plugin for a cd deck would be more viable?
I reckon if it was possible it would have been done by now

Yes, multi instance skins exist. It's not an ideal solution, but it can be done.

what would be an ideal solution then?
i always thought 4 decks would be so helpful, i know we got the samples and such but i find this a bit frustratin at times, i.e. the sample will only go witht the beats (the squares on the wave), so its not like i can play a sample exactly when i want it and its even worse when goin from one deck to the other and having a sample in the background running, another thing i noticed is that while the main decks have keylock, samples dont, so if ur sample is saved at 120 bpm, and then turn it on a track thats 130, it goes well high pitched

The main problems with multi-instance I can think of are because it's not a true multi-deck implementation.
* You need to use different soundcards for the two instances. You can work around this however, but it requires a bit more config.
* You need to use different controllers. Obviously ;)
* Screen real-estate. You need a skin with enough room - and from memory I think you'll need two browsers too.

those are the same exact issues i have with the sampler. which cause me to pre record stuff and not do it on the fly like i would like

to sirkitbreaker
i know!! it really bothers me, and while i could pre record yes i rather do on the fly for some randomness you know?
i dnt see while the real big deal is for not havin extra hehe, not sayin i can go n program it but i mean, if traktor can do it ( n its not superior...well in my opinion anyways) then y cant vdj?
or are least for the loops to drop them whenever u feel like droping
also in my opinion another awesome addition would be internal bpm counter?, like if it slows down it slows if it goes higher it goes higher rather than a steady one, sure i need to practice more but...this is more to my personal taste though, my bpm count is not perfect n i dunno how to make it
