fannnk oooooh

I cant work it out.

Maybe Jazzy Jeff is regarded as the best, but that guy was like 23 when he was killed, at that rate in 5 years time Mr Jeff wouldn't have been fit to carry his record bag.

ok i guess maybe...i doubt it.... i am talking pure entertainment at this point.......

ok.

It boils down to jealousy for me, I can't do it. Not that well anyway.....but I can practice

ha.... i see but in all honesty turntablism is just a self-love fest.... and yes i have been in plenty turntable battles back in the day but i really got into dancing and realized that no one but a dj cares about all that scratching... :)

Of course you can scratch like that on Virtual DJ...
The Serato myth is getting too old and boring.... Its just made up belief some eliteish djs want you to think, and great promo/sales work from Seratos part... Heck even Traktor can scratch like that... And others too...

Since you are from Germany, here is your national scratch DMC Champion on Virtual DJ/VV

i agree if vdj were to PAY djam and jazzy jeff they would be running around sporting VDJ gym bags......

Exactly...

Just like Traktor did with Grandmaster Flash.. previous Serato, now promoting Traktor and wearing Traktor t-shirts..

they follow the money, its as old as the dj industry itself... Endorsed DJs.

Maybe VDJ should too, but we have had a policy about not doing it... We want genuine djs interested in the product, like Coldcut, and not payed for endorsements...

we cant have things like that in a live situation

to me i still dont know how many 'problems' are set up issues. I could not get my comp and my fast track usb to work with traktor . then 20 mins with me brother on the phone and it worked like a charm. sometimes it is a matter of settings

Oh brother, that your PC man... I have no such isses at all, neither does anyone I know that use VDJ.
Try set speedload off using DJ Cels registry tool . Make your own support thread, and we'll try help you.

And of course VDJ doesnt loose track. If you have a problem with that, you need to tweak your settings.

And if you dont like your local DMC Champion, thats ok. Its not the software that makes the DJ, but the oposite. If Jazzy Jeff was on VDJ he would sound as good, of course.

VDJ is used live for video mixing in front of thousands at huge stadiums, with no hickup or loosing track, for example by Coldcut.
2 turntablists scratching videos, and whole setup, is nothing but VDJ.
