Hello everyone, can anyone tell me if a ESI Gigaport HD sound card will work with VDJ? Here's the link for it
http://www.esi-audio.com/products/gigaporthd/

Does anyone here use it? If so, how is it working for you? Any help is always appreciated.

Ive briefly used that soundcard and it is great if you just want to utilize an external mixer setup that uses all channels like deck 1 deck 2 and samples. But no good if you looking to do any type of time coded set up to control your decks from either turtables or dj players. for that you will need their 4 in 4 out card http://www.esi-audio.com/products/maya44usb/

I have also tried a cheaper route with a couple UCA202 from Behringer but im not at all satisfied with it, i feel it was a waste of $100.

The maya44usb how ever and many other 4 in 4 cards are great.

I have the Maya 44 right now and I want something a little more stable. What I mean is before I play a gig, I unplug the Maya and re-plug in the same USB port at the gig site. When I open VDJ, I need to re-install the Maya drivers to make it work. It's really a pain. Also, in diffrent occasions, Deck 2 will spin with no song loaded in the deck. When I load a song, it goes backwards and then I click the auto button in control panel and it will normailze itself but I can see the wave patterns "twitch" back and fourth. This never happens to Deck 1, only Deck 2. I am getting a little fustrated about this.
