I was thinking about a video web site that would let you view a video that I could play off another computer for videos that I was not able to purchase as of yet. This would be during a gig and the public would be permitted to view. I tried AOL videos but I'm sure there is a disclammer not allowing that plus there is a commercial during the playback.
IE: One computer would be playing as normal with VDJ and I'd have an extra laptop ready to go with an air card on the web. If I have a request that I do not have the video as of yet, I'd open the video and make the screen large which I would clone to the big screens. Hope I explained this right.

In principal i agree with this idea - but i would have thought it would be illegal!

I would think illegal too, just thinking about movies and the law to show for groups.

if it's not bought and paid for or free, it will be illegal.... bummer

There is a servince on the net that does Karaoke like this.
http://www.streamkaraoke.com/
its a subscription service, and you will nedd 100% internet access, but in the past ive used it on a 512k internet connection, so GPRS might be good to go with this (and 3g)
But its not music video, though.
