so im at the bar on my regular night...
and when i plugged my headphones to the rmx instead of hearing just the cued song, i hear whatever is playing in the other deck, no matter if its only on the deck i want to cue, its throwin me off, since i they are at the same level and well with my monitor ride beside me i think ill be deaf, anyways wondering if anyone has any clue of whats goin on, the option in the rmx n vdj where i choose if i want to listen to the cue or the mix is on the cue one so i dunno whats up...any ideas?

sounds like you have accidently moved the cue control, top right hand corner of rmx next to headphone volume control
 
hi guys,i´m having a prob with headphone on midi mixer,i use 2 tccd,sl1box & djm700.
My problem is::::with midi on when you move the fader all the way down on real mixer,it means that on vdj´s mixer the fader will be all the way down as well,and with the faders all the way down on vdj´s mixer,you cannot have sound coming from the real mixer,do you?i also made a small video explaining what´s going on,sorry about the video quality,made with my cellphone.

thanks for replying tayla, doesnt seem to be like that though, i have double checked options features everythin is just the way it normally is n the way i normally check on things, uhm....

any other ideas?

check sound setup in confiq...
 
Input: none
Output:headphones

and running the ASIO Driver thats how its always been
 
these are my settings

input: none
output: headphones
sound card(s): rmx

apply eq: not ticked

output channels: master: chan 1&2/ headphones: chan 3&4

in options tab > auto headphones: always

in rmx

audio mode > wdm (high lighted green)

any chance of some screen shots of your settings, starting to get me annoyed now as well... lol

ok mate, this has got me baffled, probably the solution is staring us straight in the face, so if anyone else can chip in please do....
 
are you using the maya 44??i had this problem with the maya 44...
 
i think he is just using the rmx as soundcard

If you are using the internal mixer you cannot use an an external que monitor effectlively
you will need to get your quing from your sound card.... or just use your mixer as anonlog and assign the xfader for the videos
since you do not use it.

yes the rmx is being used as the soundcard
 
hi hazord,thx for trying to help,i think that the problem is because the main sound comes from vdj´s levels"Faders" and not from vdj´s gain).because if using cd player plugged into mixer,when the fader is down i can still have sound on the headphones,because it comes from gain. on vdj´s mixer it comes from fader,not from vdj´s gain,is there anyway to change it in vdj?and thx again for tryng to help bro,

hey tayla so i got a new thing for you regarding this issue, when i was hookin up everything for anothr gig, i discovered that if the master volume is all down, then i only hear whatever is on cue....problem is for everythin to work great obviously master volumen should be up, n this is when i get whatever is playing.....plus the cue! :/ ....right now ive managed to go through with settings being on outputs 1 &2 being the master and 3&4 being the headphones, but it sounds too distorded (spl?) , i still cant get where this began since its never happened before

anyone else out there that might have a clue? PLEASE?
