Hi

It was announced yesterday that Amazon and apple are going head to head with Amazon costing 29p a song compared to Apples 94p or there a bouts, great to have competition, also more of the independents are going to do the same as they consider Apple to be expensive and rather have the money in there wallets, about time!

I recommend Beatport. Great selection of tracks and genres. Fairly cheap (about 2$ per track) and the best part: no stupid DRM-protections, just standard 320Kbps MP3's or even WAV if you're willing to pay extra.

Your names are very similar.

go to a used cd store you can get some full cds for the cost of one download

www.emusic.com decent price but not alot of major label downloads, some folks complain about some of the tracks because there are covers of artist like led zeplin and folks are looking for stuff like that as cheap as possible but they do have a pretty decent selection of stuff, you just have to look around to find what you looking for, they do have a free trial with 25 or 50 free donwloads

if you want a subsrciption service for $20 per month either worksessions.com or franchiserecordpool.com have great selection of "hits" in rap, r&b, hip hop, house, reggae and new stuff (also have accapellas and instrumentals) and the downloads per month are virtually unlimited (something like 2000 per month for franchise and 5000 per month for work session). Work session is a bit better quality and they give you a ton of info (bmp, key, date released, name of all artists on trck, track and remix names). For straight underground hip hop & rap (some r&b) digiwaxx.com is a free download pool for dj's but they don't have much commercial stuff lately.

i was looking at the worksession site, so i can download songs and try to subscribe but there's an application? what's that for? i mean i willing to subscribe...geez...
