not sure but think once you have your account you can just download it again.doesnt matter which pc its on as long as your a member.just make sure to copy your vdj folder so you can reload it on new pc for que points ect

where is that VDJ folder/file with all my cues? that would be a DISASTER to lose that haha

You can install VDJ in up to (2) computers of your choice, the license has nothing to do with the physical computer.
However both computers (Or specifically the software) must be used by YOU and you alone.

You can always download the most current version from the website but I would recommend keeping a local backup and not relying on the website. Websites go down from time to time for various reasons. (Remember Murphy's Law)

Your cues and all other important settings are located in: MYDOCUMENTS/VIRTUALDJ Folder.

what they said, but with this addendum:

have you bought a new power cord since buying the computer?
dell laptops are notorious for power cords going bad, especially on the models from about 2-3 years ago. it might not be where the cord plugs in.. it might be the cord/adapter itself.

o its definately the computer... the power cord plugs in over a stalk inside the computer and that stalk is bent all the way up aka cant plug the power adapter in.. i tried to take the thing apart but to no avail

gotcha. but still might be cheaper to have the part replaced than buy a new one. then buy a new one anyway so you have 2 and use one for a backup.
have fun shopping.
