Usually USB turntables are not designed for the type of activity you want to use it for. My personal experience with USB turntables is they were designed for transferring vinyl to MP3 format, and not much else. Without knowing the specs for the particular turntable your asking about my answer is no.

the ion is only made for recording onto pc, though vdj may be abel to pick up a signal off of it

youre probably not going to be able to do any scratching man
the cool thing about this tt is that it comes with a free version of audacity
you can use this software in partial conjunction with vdj to make some pretty cool tracks
audacity allows you to record layer after layer--------like having a 24 track studio!

just bought one today and am going to look into virtual vinyl , i also use a total control but im gonna take a 2 channel mixer and have my laptop run to 1 channel and see if i can connect the audio outs from the ion usb table to chaneel 2 and see what happens with that

The audio signal from the included cartridge might be out of spec for the VV souncard to detect. I ended up using a set of m44-7 shure carts for reliable signal.
