hey ya need help plzzzz

just got the numark virtual vinyl hardware and software all set up right as far as i can see but im not getting any sound should i get sound on my lappy confused where to plug my speakers in i did get sound when i plugged my speakers into the out 1 but ment to have that going to the mixer my headphones are working though

2nd question my mixer isnt doing anything ???

plz reply in simple terms i aint got a clue :)

ohh btw using 2 decks timecode vinyl external mixer

Just to add i tried the record vv and that worked when i played it back i had sound so must be set up right also tried playing round with the crossfader on my mixer while recordin didnt do anything but did when i played round with the one on the software on my recording

any questions just ask really need help ta :)

Please check this out below:
Setting up on external mixer won't do anything with you internal software mixer.
Please select Virtual Vinyl soundcard for your soundcard choice.

I see you got the VV angel :)

Just to add to the drawing above,

Your turntable/CDJ's connect to inputs 1&2 and 3&4 of the VV interface. Output 1&2 and 3&4 from the interface go out to channel 1&2 of your mixer.

Then from the master out of mixer goes to your amp or PA system.

thanxs for replys i had the diagram already with the instructions and im sure i have set it up right

if i put my pa into the master out on my mixer i just get a loud pinging noise

Check that you have not connected the time code to the pass through apposed to inputs 1 and 2.

Well if you wired it right as you said, you might have on the timecode bypass on the software by acident. Please check on the skin you are using and deactivate the bypass timecode.

Sorted !!!

Just spoken to the the support people and was coz in the config i had external mixer when i should of selected 3 channel mixer
