guys whenever i open my hd sticks there is a folder saying trashes what are theese folders.

It has something to do with Mac OSX - quite why it does it i do not know.
I think (if i remember rightly) i fixed it by formatting it on the Mac using the default format setting (obviously backing everything up first). Then it doesnt seem to show up anymore.
If that doesn't work then let me know and i'll see if i can remember what i else i did.

not sure what the formatting area is.can i just delete theese files trashes or do they hold info

you can just delete them - but i think they will keep coming back.
If you wanted to format it on your Mac - go to APPLICATIONS--->UTILITIES---->DISK UTILITY

it basically erases everything and changes the memory into a Mac compatible format. Windows is still able to read the drive without a problem but it should stop the "random" files from appearing.
